Community Services

The Village of Nampa offers a variety of community and recreational activities for residents. The Nampa Recreation Centre is the main centre for the community and recreation activities. The facility contains a curling rink and arena, a dance hall and several conference rooms. The Village also has the Mill Brown Memorial Park, which provides baseball diamonds, tennis courts, a creative children’s playground, camping and picnic facilities. In addition, there is the Nampa Centennial Playground and the Legacy Park.

A number of special events are hosted throughout the year attended by residents and visitors.

· February : Family Day with outdoor events of all kinds.

· March: Figure Skating Carnival

· June: Farmers Day Softball Tournament with children’s activities.

· July: Annual Open Golf Tournament at the Heart River Golf Course.
